We sat down with Cleveland Lifestyle Blogger and Great Lakes Health & Wellness Ambassador Lauren Nanni and asked her some questions about how she stays healthy.

1. Introduce yourself ...
Hey guys! My name is Lauren Nanni and I’m a Cleveland based lifestyle blogger who has passion for all things fitness, travel, and personal development!
2. How do you stay in such great shape?
I believe staying in shape falls within your daily choices, so being conscious of what we’re choosing to do/not do is key. I also thrive off a solid routine so once that’s established I just run with it.
3. Give some advice for someone looking to start working out...
Two things! 1. Don’t feel like you have to change your entire lifestyle/ routine in a week’s worth of time. Take it slow so you don’t feel overwhelmed and can then make it into a lifestyle. 2. Don’t be intimidated by the gym— everyone was once a beginner. If you’re unsure of exercises—YouTube them! If you’re not sure how a piece of equipment works—ask!
4. What do you think is more important for health? Eating well or working out?
Both important (obviously) but I’m going with eating well on this one!
5. Favorite workout?
I love to train shoulders!
6. Least favorite workout/exercise?
Legs…it’s just a love/hate kinda thing yano?
7. How do you keep yourself accountable?
Review my goals daily and attach a ‘why’ to them—make them meaningful!
8. Favorite cheat meal?
Burger and fries and then froyo for dessert!
9. Favorite place in Cleveland to hang out
10. Goals for 2019?
To upgrade and re-do my blog…which is currently in the works so stay tuned!
11. Fun fact or story about yourself...
I used to do bodybuilding competitions for 3 years and competed in the bikini division :)
